New Zealand born & Australian raised, Adine is an ex model who from the 90’s lived and worked between Paris, Milan & Los Angeles finally settling down in Venice circa 2010 where she put modelling aside to begin her journey in fashion design, learning the very basics of pattern making & sewing at an Italian Fashion School in Mestre Venice.
Passionately in love with designing T-shirts, she opened a small atelier and started making her very first pieces that were quickly picked up by an Italian showroom in Milan who introduced Adine and her designs to the European market via her first official trade show in Paris at Pret-a-Porter where her first small collection was a great success that kick-started off her career path in fashion.
A subscriber of understated fashion, Adine now works and lives in Bali developing her concept of easy-to-wear layers designed for a modern urban life.
Crafted from quality fabrics and produced in limited quantities, she brings a distinct style and sensibility to all the pieces she creates with her locally selected Balinese artisans skilled in handiwork & dyeing, processes she loves getting fully immersed in to achieve her label’s distinct raw authenticity creating in the moment instead of simply following trends.
Her work sustains a micro-economy of the Island’s local people whom she works alongside with in and ethical fashion to ensure they are well compensated financially and respected culturally … a spirited team that prides itself on delivering quality made non-mass produced & pre-softened pieces to it’s international customer base.
Adine has her own manufacturing set up which she’s built from blood, sweat & tears. A point of difference that sets ADINE STUDIO apart from other labels because she’s able to CUSTOMISE and tailor make orders to fit her stockists and end consumers needs… a point of difference she’s fiercely proud of.
We’re commercial yet niche, manufactured yet hand made, universal yet local, masculine yet feminine.
Made with love and integrity with your comfort in mind.
